Hospitals
Hospital Bonanova is one of our newest and best hospitals in Rosarito. It is a medium sized hospital that allows it to give more personal services, including lab work, various specialties, maternity services, emergency services, ambulance service and so much more. This hospital is located in the heart of Rosarito, on the second floor of Oceana Plaza.
Hospitals in Rosarito are generally smaller and more personalized, with the exception of Sanoviv Medical Institue. This is one of the most advanced medical facilities in North America, specializing in alternative treatments that are not readily available anywhere else. This facility was built with personalized specialty service for all guests.
Most of our hospitals are centrally located in town, but Sanoviv is at Km 39, between Rosarito and Puerto Nuevo, right next to the Pacific Ocean.

Rosarito has a Mexican Red Cross Hospital. Thanks to a great administration and generous donations from the local community, as well as American donations, they have modern medical equipment, ambulances and transportation to attend to any emergency. The Red Cross is in the center of Rosarito, next to the Abraham Lincoln elementary school and behind the Commerical Plaza Ejido Mazatlan.
Rosarito also has the Hospital General in front of the Municipal Offices. It provides attention to hunderds of people that have limited resources, while providing excellent service.
Rosarito has a presence in cosmetic procedures. The Genesis Clinic in one of teh best equipped location for plastic surgery inth estate and is well known in the U.S. for its great results in plastic surgery. This clinic is located in front of McDonalds, on the north side of boulevard Benito Juarez.
Another hospital in the heart of Rosarito is Hospital Santa Lucia. This is a very small hostpital that provides very personal service. It is located behind the police station.
Another hospital that has been recently renovated, but that has been around for a very long time, is Hospital Jardon. They offer various medical services, principally focusing on cosmetic procedures, with a large American clientele. This hospital is located on the south end of town, up above and across the street from the residential complex, Rosarito Shores, and the Hotel Rosarito.
Baja Medix is another small, but very personal hospital that offers services in maternity, general consultation, certain specialties, ambulance services, and others. This hospital is located in the southern end of town, behind Banorte location, which is across from the Hotel Rosarito.
Due to the large concentration of older Americans living in Rosarito, the doors to a new concept have been opened, in the area of health care services at home. There are now three providers, INCARE, SERENA Senior Care, and Casa el Jardin. These three locations offer integral assistance to patients who need extra help in their advanced years. SERENA offers a membership that offers clients help in every aspect of their daily lives. They also offer a private complex that offers assistence, activities, etc. In Mexico, it is common to see several generations of family members living together, so the idea of having a place that will provide assistance to the elderly that live on their own is a relatively new concept, and these services cater mostly to Americans.

The other group offering housing and medial assistance is Casa el Jardin (The Garden's). This is a property in a very pleasant surrounding just 15 minutes from the center of town. This is off the PEMEX entrance. This property gives patients the sensation of being on a ranch, surrounded by trees and tranquil characteristics of a private area, with the advantage of only being minutes from town. They offer the same services as the other two providers listed above for their patients.
Rosarito also has a Mexican Social Security Hospital, which is located behind the police station in the center of town.
Farmacias Similares is one of the most economic options for low cost medical consultations, laboratory work, as well as being a pharmacy with generic products. In Rosarito, you will find several locations along the boulevard.
